Our Favorite Recipes
Cool Strawberry Salad

1 Large Pack of Strawberry JELL-O
1 Cup of Boiling Water
1 Small Can of Crushed Pineapple
1 Qt. Fresh-picked Strawberries, Diced
3 Bananas, Mashed
1 Cup Chopped Nuts (Pecans or Almonds)
1/2 Pint of Sour Cream

Dissolve, JELL-O in water.  Stir in Pineapple, Strawberries, Nuts, and Bananas.  Pour 1/2 of mixture into baking dish and congeal.  Top with sour cream.  Add remaining JELL-O mixture.  Chill.




Quick and Easy Strawberry Pie

3 TBSP Cornstarch -or- 4 TBSP Flour
3 TBSP Strawberry JELL-O
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
1 Pint Fresh-Picked Strawberries, cut into quarters
A few drops Red Food Coloring

Combine first three ingredients in saucepan.  Add water and cook over low until thick.  Add food coloring.  Cool.  Fold in fresh strawberries.  Pour into baked pie shell.  Top with topping.





Very Strawberry Ice Cream

4 Large Eggs
1/2 tsp. Salt
6 Cups Milk
2 Cups Sugar
1 TBSP Vanilla Extract
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Pint Fresh Strawberries, (sweetened)

Combine Eggs and Salt and beat until light.  Add condensed milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.  Mix well.  Pour mixture into ice cream churn.  Churn until almost set.  Add strawberries and continue to church until ready.

Makes 12 servings.
Strawberry Pizza

Purchase a refrigerated cookie dough and shape it into a circle on a pie pan.  Bake the cookie dough according to package directions.  Let Cool!

Whip together and spread onto cookie crust:
8 Oz. Cream Cheese
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup XXXX Sugar

Arrange Fresh-picked Strawberries, cut in half, on top of mixture.

Top with glaze.  You can use store bought glaze or see directions for Glaze Below.

Add Whipped Cream - if you want it sinfully delicious!

Strawberry Glaze

2 Cups Water
1 1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Cornstarch
1 Small Box Strawberry Gelatin


Mix
Together Water, Sugar, and Cornstarch.  Boil Until Clear.  Add Box of Gelatin to hot mixture.  Stir together and let cool.


Strawberry Pudding


1 Qt. Fresh-picked strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Small package Strawberry JELL-O
3 Packs Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Large Container Cool Whip
3 Cups Cold Milk
(To be used for pudding instead of amount  listed on the box)
1 Box Vanilla Wafers

Heat Strawberries, Sugar, and JELL-O just enough to dissovle JELL-O, stirring constantly.  DO NOT ADD WATER.
COOL.
Mix Pudding, ans milk, and sour cream and fold 1/3 of cool whip in large (13 x 9 1/2 ") pan.  Layer wafers, pudding mix, and strawberries and repeat layers until all is used.  Top with remaining Cool Whip.  Garnish with strawberries.  Refrigerate.
